Claro Ed gives small districts a complete system for supporting multilingual learners — student data, ESL documentation, progress monitoring, and family communication, all built around your reality.
Systems that fit your reality. Students that stay the priority.
Claro Ed works with you — not around you. We fit our system to your budget, your staff, and your students. Here's how we do it.
A complete software system built for small districts managing multilingual learner populations — without the enterprise price tag.
We don't just hand you a login and walk away. We set up the system with you, customized to your district's structure, budget, and needs.
Your staff will know exactly how to use the tools, meet state requirements, and support multilingual learners in general education classrooms.
Small districts don't have dedicated ELL departments or enterprise IT teams. Claro Vela is a single hub where ESL student data, progress monitoring, documentation, and family communication all live together — designed for the coordinator who is also the data manager, the compliance officer, and the parent liaison, all at once.
Claro Ed was founded by Veronica Ward, a New Jersey educator with over a decade of experience working with multilingual learners across urban and suburban districts. She has served as an ESL teacher, instructional coach, and program coordinator — giving her a ground-level understanding of what districts actually need, and what gets in the way.
She built Claro Ed because she lived the problem firsthand: educators spending hours on compliance paperwork instead of instruction, families receiving reports they couldn't understand, and small districts trying to force-fit tools that were never built for their reality.
Claro Ed exists so that districts can stop building systems and start focusing on students.
The name Claro Vela — "clear sail" — reflects the belief that the right system doesn't fight the wind. It works with your district's reality, your budget, and your people to move students forward.
Whether you're exploring Claro Vela, need consulting support, or just want to talk through your district's multilingual learner challenges — we're here. No pressure, no pitch. Just a real conversation.
